Social Entrepreneurship and Management

Master in Social Entrepreneurship and Management (SEM) is designed as an in-depth education for students who want to specialise in studies of the social dimension of entrepreneurship and management.

In all parts of the world there is a growing interest in social entrepreneurship, social enterprises and social innovation. Traditional welfare systems are transforming and new global challenges induce us to 'think out of the box' to solve persistent challenges and problems. Social entrepreneurs create innovative solutions to societal problems, often across sectors and professional disciplines. To do so requires a new set of skills that span knowledge about leadership, organization and management as well as the processes of social innovation in diverse institutional, organizational and cultural contexts.
