Fulldegree Onboarding Day – How to RUC @Roskilde

The Fulldegree Onboarding Day is a 1-day event that complements your online study start course ‘How to RUC’ by providing an on-site extension in Roskilde. It is a compulsory, peer-to-peer onboarding programme day held on the first official day of the semester, specifically designed for international fulldegree students.

It is expected that you have completed your online study start course ‘How to RUC’, prior to attending the Fulldegree Onboarding Day in Roskilde.

What to Expect

During the Fulldegree Onboarding Day you will become acquainted with the history, philosophy, and learning principles of RUC, along with practical information about studying here, such as semester structure and the digital platforms we use. If you are new to Denmark, we will assist you with the practicalities of moving to Denmark.

In short, the programme includes: - A mixture of lectures, Q&A sessions and info presentations with administrative staff—from the the International Team, the Study- and Career Guidance, IT Service, and the Registration and Exam Team. - A vibrant Associations Fair (RUC Expo)—your one-stop gateway to student clubs, communities, Danish language schools and causes that match your passions, hobbies, and ambitions from day one. - Assistance with registration in Denmark, including residence permits and moving logistics—so you can settle in smoothly if you are new here. - Social activities such as icebreakers and a fun game activity to wrap up the day—perfect for meeting new friends and starting your new RUC journey with a smile.
